Spread Love To Your Feet and Local Trails with Seattle-Based From The Ground Up, At Periodic June 5-20
Sock and apparel brand From The Ground Up will be taking over Seattle’s Periodic: A Pop-Up Shop in June.
From The Ground Up is a Seattle-based startup that was founded in August 2018 by University of Washington alumni Rami Nasr. Inspired by the breathtaking views of the Pacific Northwest and a pair of problematic and dull hiking socks, Nasr set out to create a sock that fixed his and other hikers’ problems.
As an avid outdoor enthusiast, Nasr had been through it all—blisters, bruises and everything in between. He and his feet had just about enough after a difficult hike through the Cascades. This was the beginning of From The Ground Up’s socks that look good, can withstand the toughest trails and are ethically and sustainably made. The brand also produces face coverings, T-shirts, stickers and hats – everything that will make your next trek more enjoyable.
From The Ground Up is a partner of the Washington Trails Association, a local Washington nonprofit focused on preserving and maintaining the trails of the state we love. 5% of every purchase is donated to Washington Trails Association and helps support the hard work and research to protect our trails and public land.
From The Ground Up will be at Periodic: A Pop-Up Shop from June 5-20 – just in time for Father’s Day.
